Tony Stewart & Lee Roy Mercer In Victory Lane Prelude to the Dream - Eldora Speedway - Live On HBO

SPEED TV will offer multiple replays of Tony Stewart’s Prelude to the Dream, beginning July 5th at 1:00 pm EST. Previously only available through HBO Pay-Per-View, the race run on June 4th at famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, benefited Kyle Petty’s new Victory Junction Gang Camp II outside Kansas City.

The all-star event featured Tony Stewart and twenty-four rivals, including twenty-one NASCAR regulars and two NHRA stars, drive late-model stock cars in the exhibition: Aric Almirola, Dave Blaney, Clint Bowyer, Kyle Busch, Ron Capps, Carl Edwards, Bill Elliott, Ray Evernham, Red Farmer, Jeff Gordon, Robby Gordon, Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne, Matt Kenseth, Bobby Labonte, Mark Martin, Ryan Newman, Cruz Pedregon, David Reutimann, Kenny Schrader, Kenny Wallace, and J.J. Yeley.

The HBO Pay-Per-View all-star event also featured Special Celebrity guest WarHead Records prank call recording artist Lee Roy Mercer giving Ray Evernham an comedic ass whoopin', with Announcers Mike Joy, Darrell Waltrip, and Kyle Petty. Curb Records recording artist Lee Brice sang the National Anthem prior to the fourth annual Old Spice - Prelude to the Dream. The all-star event also featured Pit Reporters Dick Berggren and Matt Yocum. And Tony Stewart made the presentation of a check for ONE MILLION DOLLARS to Kyle Petty in Victory Lane for Victory Junction Gang Camp II KC.

A supernova of racing talent will again descend upon the Field of Dreams that is Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on June 4th when the dirt that made champions out of A.J. Foyt and Mario Andretti plays host to today's racing stars at the fourth annual Old Spice Prelude to the Dream. And for those not lucky enough to grab a seat for the dirt late model race featuring over 25 world renowned drivers as they battle for dirt supremacy, HBO Pay-Per-View will present the event live to the entire nation. Proceeds from this telecast will support construction of Victory Junction Gang Camp II in Kansas City, as well as the Tony Stewart Foundation.

The all-star race will feature such racing icons as Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne, Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick, Matt Kenseth, Mark Martin, Denny Hamlin, Bobby Labonte and more. All will pilot 2,300-pound dirt late model stock cars capable of putting out over 800 horsepower. The all-star event will also feature special celebrity guest Lee Roy Mercer.

The live, commercial-free broadcast will begin at 7 PM ET (4 PM PT), with an immediate replay and subsequent replays throughout the week and the following weekend. HBO Pay-Per-View's racing telecast has a suggested retail price of $24.95 and is available to more than 71 million pay-per-view homes.

In the NASCAR-SPRINT Cup points race at the Bristol Motor Speedway event, Bowyer started the #07 Jack Daniels' Chevrolet 3rd in the lineup for Sunday’s Food City 500 and finished 3rd. His gain of seven spots to 9th in the standings was the biggest of the drivers making all 5 races so far this season.

Lee Roy Mercer will be preforming his unique brand of Southern Comedy with Bowyer at several of the NASCAR-SPRINT Cup racing events this season. In addition to Mercer's famous "It Ain't Nothin' For Me To Whoop A Man's Ass!" comedy routines, the Tennessee Prankster will also speak to the Fans about the history of NASCAR which includes a supportive speech to help the Fans become more familiar with the modern era of the CoT. I have been a fan of racing for many years. I have seen many pictures of fans while they were with their specific favorites including teams and drivers and even an occasional pit crew member, all with one thing in common. Most if not all are of the fan smiling while getting their shot,,, there are others who take time to make the one who is the Star feel as if they could relax and just be themselves. I have had opportunities to meet and talk with drivers and it has happened to me,, the excitement,, actually seeing a Living Legend or a Favorite Driver can easily overcome even the most experienced fan, so when I see pics of drivers with a fan and the Driver or person ‘Starring’ has a smile on their face, knowing they must feel at ease, well that to me is impressive for the simple reason that the fan thought to think of someone other than themselves, even in all the excitement, they thought of the driver first.

One such feller is well known and has a following all his own. He is a member of the NASCAR community, often, letting us all know that there are New Pics we can see, that without him taking them, we would have never of had the chance to see our (your) favorites, in that light.

A Fans Fan is usually in places we all wish we could be. He has well known friends that allow him opportunities to do what we all want to do. Most of us can not do the things he does for one reason or another, but we have a friend who is just like us,,, a fan,,, a fans fan cause he knows what we would do,,, he is a fan too,,,, he knows what we would have done and even when he himself may not have done it,, he does anyway just so we can see what it was we wanted to see,,,, just as if we were there,,,, Kinda like the old Memorex Commercials,, “Is it Live or is it Lee Roy Mercer?”

Jon took some awesome photos during our trip to the DAYTONA 500 50th and I wanted to share 'em with my Fans & Friends. Lots of great pics of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and many more of our NASCAR friends. As you will see we had a major blast.

I was elected to officially represent GOOD/YEAR regarding a Special Charity Tire that was hand signed by all of the NASCAR drivers and I also received the honor to include my signature along with 'em. This event took place behind the DAYTONA 500 main stage and received some great TV coverage on SPEED TV and NASCAR On FOX during the national broadcast of the DAYTONA 500 50th.

In addition to all this, I had the privilege of hanging out with my favorite Old School NASCAR driver of all time, Mr. Cale Yarborough, who also appearers on my NASCAR Driver Prank Call CD – GONE RACIN'. As everyone knows, Cale Yarborough is the first Ass-Whooper of NASCAR and like me, It Ain't Nothin' For Him To Whoop A Man's Ass!
