Lee Roy Mercer and Jack Roush at the Coca-Cola 600

A BIG Special Thanks to Mr. Jack Roush for sponsorin' my Producer Jon Holtz and me to the Coca-Cola 600 at Low's Motor Speedway. Jack Roush and ROUSH Racing Whoop-Ass!

At 2:00 p.m. the day's festivities began as Jack Roush welcomed us as his special guests at Driver Mark Martin's race car hauler parked just outside the garage area. We made some quick introductions and then started cutting-up with each other regardin' the prank call I made on him that is featured on my new GONE RACIN' CD. Jack and I also swapped some good jokes, old war stories, and autographed lots of items that will be donated to some Special Charity Organizations and held for auction. We then proceeded to put on a bit of a fisticuffs show for his staff and Mark Martin's Pit Crew. In addition, Jack Roush and Mark Martin both signed some original works painted by Racin' Illustrator Bryan Haren who accompanied us to the event as well.

Around 3:30 p.m. Mr. Roush escorted Jon and I to the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Driver/Crew Chief Meetin' held at the (Time Warner Media Center) and I sat beside Roush Driver Greg Biffle who was sittin' right behind DEI's Dale Earnhardt, Jr.. After the meetin' adjourned we met with Team owner Richard Childress, Driver Tony Stewart, and NASCAR President Mike Helton. The (Press) was still there from the prior event and were given plenty of photo-ops to capture the moment and they did.

At 5:30 p.m. I accompanied Jack Roush on top of the number 6 Team's (PIT-BOX) for the 5:41 p.m. Start of the Coca-Cola 600 which is a (400 laps/600 miles) race. I had a incredible time on the (PIT-BOX) with Jack and stayed there to support Mark Martin and his team till the race finally ended. The Ford Fusions of Roush Racing teammates Carl Edwards, Mark Martin and Matt Kenseth finished third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

Jack Roush and the whole ROUSH Racing origination are some super nice folks and they sure know how to show a feller a good time. I could never thank Jack enough for showin' all the Whoop-Ass hospitality he so graciously displayed toward Jon, Bryan, and me. It was a very exciting and rewarding experience for everyone involved and it's one that I will not soon forget.

It Ain't Nothin' For Jack Roush and everyone at ROUSH Racing to Whoop A Man's Ass!
